Kuma Games, you may know them from the free-to-play FPS Kuma War, has come out with a brand new piracy game. This one is different from the rest though, it's inspired by the recent hijacking of the Maersk Alabama. Also, instead of being stuck playing the pirates like always, you may now choose to also play the crew. You can surround and assault the ship as the pirates, attempting to murder, rob, and seize the ship or fight them off with the crew. This opens up some interesting multiplayer options, especially if they use some true-to-life weapons such as the high-powered water guns and blinding spotlights. Somali Showdown: Pirates on the High Seas will release later today on Kuma's website here.
